According to the World Economic Forum, women currently hold just 31% of leadership positions globally, with gender parity in leadership projected to take over 130 years to achieve. At Girls Lead Forward, we are working to close this gap by fostering the next generation of female leaders who will drive meaningful change across all industries and sectors. Together, we are shaping a future where girls not only take the lead but shape the world around them.At GLF, we believe that every girl has the potential to lead. Our mission is to empower young girls to step into leadership roles with confidence, courage, and a vision for change. Our mission is to empower girls to lead with courage and purpose, especially those who have been told they’re too young, too inexperienced, or too quiet to make a difference. By providing mentorship, resources, and a supportive community, we help girls cultivate the skills, mindset, and opportunities they need to lead with purpose.Through webinars, podcasts, and storytelling initiatives, we connect girls with women leaders who once stood where they stand now — uncertain, underestimated, but full of potential.
WHAT WE DO
Girls Lead Forward (GLF) empowers young girls to step into leadership roles with confidence through webinars, podcasts, community outreach, social media and a blog. Our webinars feature industry leaders and mentors who provide practical guidance on developing leadership skills, while our podcasts showcase inspiring stories from women changemakers across various fields. Through our blog, we share thought-provoking articles, interviews, and resources to encourage personal growth and leadership development. Together, these platforms create a supportive community for girls to learn, connect, and grow as the next generation of leaders.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
There are several ways to get involved with Girls Lead Forward and make a difference in your community. You can join our Chapter Program and start your own chapter to empower girls in your area, or you can apply to join our Core Team if there are openings.
